VAULT MARTINI BAR - VAULT COCTAIL LOUNGE
Per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vault_Cocktail_Lounge Vault Cocktail Lounge, formerly Vault Martini Bar…Vault Martini Bar was originally owned by Casey Hopkin. In March 2018, the owners of Vintage Cocktail Lounge purchased Vault Martini Bar. The bar began operating as Vault Cocktail Lounge, starting on June 1… AND in a 2019 overview of the most LGBT-friendly U.S. cities, Robert Deutsch of USA Today called Vault one of the "best LGBTQ hangouts" in Portland.[6]
And per https://pdx.eater.com/2018/5/2/17311764/portland-restaurant-openings-2018-bars-cafes:
Per website vaultpdx.com: “We are honored to be occupying the space that formerly housed Vault Martini Bar. Opened in 2004 by Casey Hopkin, Vault Martini was known for their fun space, welcoming staff, and creative “martini” style cocktails. When we decided to move into the vacated space, we knew we wanted to create a connection from past to present. Casey came back and worked with us to design the space to be warm, inviting, and intimate. We are always excited when a Vault Martini regular tells us about their favorite cocktail from the past so we can create our version of the favorites. We hope you enjoy the new space and menu and become new regulars of Vault Cocktail Lounge.”
Per https://www.yelp.com/biz/vault-cocktail-lounge-portland-2 New owners, new space, new menu We are a neighborhood bar that specializes in craft cocktails without the pretense. Table service so you can relax, a wall of spirits for a variety of tastes, attentive and knowledgeable staff, and a food menu with something for everyone.
Arun S.
Business Owner
Moving to Portland in 1992, Arun found himself working in Portland's nightlife, from bussing tables at Saucebox to manning the door at Tiger Bar to promoting events at Berbati's Pan. Those early days (and nights) planted the seed wanting to one day be a more active part of Portland's food and drink culture. He never imagined that would materialize as the opportunity to take over the legendary Vault!
Vault - That Portland Life This week’s Hot Spot is one of our favorite Portland destinations for craft cocktails: Vault Cocktail Lounge. Located in the Pearl district, this spot mixes up meticulously perfected drinks, from the classics to an array of seasonal features.
